Online Teaching Fundamentals

Description

For this Online Teaching Fundamentals Micro-credential, you will gain skills in LMS and approved tool navigation and use, principles of basic online course design, as well as more advanced topics in engaging learners and building a community.  You will complete three levels of training and meet the required competencies at each level. The micro-credential culminates in an online learning experience in the LMS that you will intentionally design, and which will be approved by a University of Maine System facilitator. Evidence will be assessed using a course design rubric developed by the UMS, which is based on best practices in the field of online course design.
