When an individual completes the isolation period, the active case number shared in the Together for Maine daily update is reduced to reflect that change.

UMS is reporting 27 known cases today, 2 more cases than reported in the last update. Today’s data reflects 3 new cases and 1 completion of isolation since the last update. Prior updates are archived at the Together for Maine website.

  • 88.8% of UMS full-time employees have verified their vaccination status, as of 10/11/21
  • 100% of university-administered quarantine space currently available
  • 99% of university-administered isolation spaces available

COVID Compliance Activities

525 students need to act by Oct. 15 to come into compliance with vaccination and testing requirements or risk being withdrawn from courses by Oct. 31 without a refund. That is down from the 1,087 students reported when UMS outlined the outreach and support initiatives being utilized to help students meet safety mandates. Please see Compliance Campaign Hits Final Stage Sept 30, 2021.
