11 — Known Cases of UMS students or employees in ME CDC Isolation

  • 8 UMaine:  1 student released from isolation
  • 0 UMF: The adjunct faculty member was released from isolation
  • 3 USM: 1 student released from isolation

 

There are no known cases at the other University of Maine System universities. 

 

The above Data reflects ACTIVE known cases identified through the UMS asymptomatic screening and other testing venues.  When an individual is released from an isolation order by the Maine CDC the active case number shared in the Together for Maine daily update is reduced to reflect that change.  UMS is reporting 11 known cases today, 3 fewer than the number reported in the  9/4/20 update

The Asymptomatic Screening Dashboard posted at Together.Maine.edu is under redesign to integrate data from new testing partners.  We will continue to provide daily updates of our asymptomatic screening data as part of this daily briefing.  Data presented here represents known results on all asymptomatic tests going back to July 22, 2020.

 

About 48 hours passes from the time a test sample is collected and when the results are known.
