Badging Platform
The University of Maine System (UMS) uses a badging platform called Parchment Digital Badges (formerly known both as Canvas Badges and Badgr). Many of the resources on this page have been produced outside of the UMS, but were selected to help explain the concepts surrounding how to use the badging platform. Click a link below to learn more.
Important Note: Badges are awarded to a specific email address and are permanently associated with that email. We strongly recommend associating a second email with your Parchment Digital Badges account so you can maintain access to your account and badges in case you lose access to a work, university, or school email at a future date.
