Description:

This micro-credential recognizes and validates the learner’s successful completion of the University of Maine System (UMS) Aquaculture pathway (Levels 1, 2 and 3). Learners completed training in aquaculture and applied their learning in a professional aquaculture work-based setting. The following skills were developed: use and maintenance of aquaculture equipment, knowledge and skills in culturing aquaculture species, and the ability to apply relevant knowledge and skills in an aquaculture industry setting. Recipients of this micro-credential are able to work professionally within the aquaculture industry. Evidence was verified and assessed by authorized UMS faculty and staff to ensure UMS micro-credential quality standards were met.
