System-wide Services
Many of the administrative and policy functions of Maine's seven public universities and ten university outreach centers are overseen by centralized operations called System-wide Services, or SWS.
SWS provides efficient support for common university needs and services such as human resources, information technologies, distance learning, government relations, financial management, and administrative services. Statewide operations also include the Chancellor's office; senior System officials involved in statewide coordinating functions and services; and the staff assistant to the Board of Trustees.
