The University of Maine System (UMS) CCAUE is our annual charitable giving campaign. UMS employees have contributed more than $2 million to charities serving our state, nation, and global communities for over two decades. This campaign supports crucial services for our families, friends, and neighbors who need our support now. You are invited to be part of something bigger—together, let’s ensure every Mainer has the opportunity to thrive.
UMS is once again partnering with Heart of Maine United Way to provide a simple and secure online donation portal for your pledge. Employees can give through payroll deduction, by check, or with a debit/credit card–whatever works best for you. This year, our system-wide goal is to raise $50,000 to support programs that strengthen Maine communities and help our neighbors thrive. Please take a moment to watch ‘Together We Thrive,’ a short video highlighting the vital work of the United Way and the real impact your generosity has. After viewing, we invite you to return to this page to make your contribution. And don’t forget to enter the prize portion of the 2025 campaign, open now through 4:00 PM on December 29, 2025.
New this year, if your last gift was through payroll deduction, it will automatically roll over. No action is needed if you’d like to keep it the same. To cancel your payroll deduction, please reach out to Heart of Maine United Way Director of IT and Operations, John Young, at john@homeunitedway.org by December 5.
