October 20th, 2011On Sunday, October 23 from 6:00 a.m. until Noon, all MaineStreet Campus Solutions applications, including Student Self-Service and Faculty Self-Service will be unavailable while maintenance is performed. This scheduled maintenance will not affect Financials but WILL have an impact on the Human Resources new hire search process.

Campus Solutions Upgrade Scheduled for June
April 8th, 2011Campus Solutions is the student-oriented component of our MaineStreet application suite. It is scheduled for a long-planned upgrade this June 7th.
ITS’ Administrative Systems Development and Support has been working towards this goal for over a year to allow UMS to continue to provide the best services and products to the Students, Faculty, and Staff. We all look forward to the roll-out of this latest upgrade this summer.
UMS ITS Hosts a New Website for Information about Online Programs

Courses.Maine.Edu Moves to Version 9.1
August 24th, 2010Wednesday the 25th of August www.courses.maine.edu will move to our BlackBoard 9 environment. This move will take from 4Am to 12PM. More information is available in our BlackBoard support section.
Blackboard 9 Upgrade
July 21st, 2010Blackboard 9 instances will be down Thursday the 22nd through the end of Saturday the 24th of July due to an upgrade from 9.0 to 9.1.
Upgrade planned for ImageNow/WebNow
July 8th, 2010ImageNow and WebNow will be upgraded to the latest version, 6.4.1, July 10 and 11. While the upgrade is in process the system will be unavailable to users. Users will transition to the new system on Monday, July 12. Google Wave is now available under maine.edu
May 21st, 2010Google recently added Google Wave to Google Apps and we have enabled it for the maine.edu domain.
Google Wave is an experimental real-time communication and collaboration tool. You can find details at Google Wave.
Since this is a Google Labs application, it does not receive the same level of support as other Google applications:
- Support is avaliable only through the Google Wave Help Center and Help Forum
- There is no guarantee as to the future (if any) of Google Wave.
