August 2022 Update

The work described in the June 2022 and July 2022 Unified Catalog updates has continued this month. A two-person information technology (IT) team has met with professional staff from each of our universities to map the internal routing process for the online version of the current paper-based “study away” form. In plain language, the team is ensuring that all of the approvals required for processing the form are preserved, and properly sequenced, we prepare to move the form online. Once completed and implemented, the result will be a seamless and efficient online experience for students, their faculty advisors, administrators, and the frontline professionals who manage the information provided by the form: transfers officers, financial aid staff, bursars, international programs staff, and others. We remain on track to share the new-and-improved form with our faculty senates/assemblies, provosts, and others in September for their review and consideration.
