What’s Happened Since the Last Update?

Oracle Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM) HR project

The third round of the Phase 1 Recruiting and Onboarding Application Review sessions was conducted on March 25 and 26. A Core HR Lite App Review session will be conducted on April 4. Everything remains on track for the July 1, 2024, Phase 1 go-live, when Oracle Cloud will replace Hiretouch as the UMS employee Recruiting and Onboarding platform.

With the exception of the Payroll Self-guided Review sessions, the second round of Phase 2 Application and Self-guided Review sessions were completed for the Compensation, Benefits, Absence Management, Time and Labor, and Payroll modules. The Payroll Self-guided Review sessions will be conducted in April. The team is now following up on updating configurations and converted data based on the Application Review results in preparation for the third round of Phase 2 Application Review sessions planned for May.

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Finance project

In February, the ERP (Finance) project team completed the second round of Application Review and Self-guided Review sessions for the Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Cash Management modules. Like the HCM project, the team is now updating configurations and converting data based on the Application Review results in preparation for the third round of Application Reviews planned for late May through early June. Additionally, efforts related to the Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and Expense modules have resumed.

MaineStreet Campus Solutions (CS) Reimplementation project

The project Core Team has further refined the recommendation evaluation governance process. The project teams are evaluating, accepting, or rejecting, and prioritizing each recommendation from our implementation partners, ERP Analysts, beginning with those with low-to-medium effort estimates. The first set of approved recommendations is currently being implemented in Campus Solutions. The technical team continues to build out the PeopleTools 8.6 environment and develop a short-term solution to the need for the limited, immediate use of CommGen functionality in Campus Solutions.

What’s Next?

  • March/April: HCM Recruiting, Onboarding, and Core HR Lite App3.0 Review sessions
  • April: HCM Payroll App2.0 Self-guided Review sessions
  • March/April: Begin implementing approved recommendations in Campus Solutions
