Recently, a group of University of Maine faculty and staff teamed up with industry stakeholders in the outdoor recreation sector to create the Maine Outdoor Economy Roadmap, laying the groundwork for growing and diversifying the state’s great outdoors over the next decade.
According to the Roadmap, “There’s no shortage of outdoor recreation in the Pine Tree State, but plenty of potential exists. That’s why we’re blazing a trail for Maine’s outdoor recreation economy – to sustain it and help it grow for years to come.”
