Unified Catalog Update
Following a productive discussion with the University of Maine System Presidents’ Council, we are preparing to speak with faculty at all of our universities and the Maine Law School about ways to align academic policy and practice in order to simplify multi-university activity for students and faculty and foster better outcomes for both.
Relatedly, initial discussions with faculty groups have yielded important insights about removing barriers to student success and guiding faculty who are interested in developing collaboratively delivered courses and/or multi-university programs.
Working with the Unified Catalog Project Team, and in close consultation with faculty system-wide, we expect to report on our progress in these areas throughout the spring semester and beyond.
