As one of the oldest and most successful collaborations among faculty at all of the University of Maine System campuses, the Maine Geospatial Institute – along with partner Downeast Health Research Collaborative – is sponsoring a retreat for existing and planned collaborations. The retreat will be held at the Wells Conference Center at the University of Maine, Orono, on March 30 from 9 – 3 p.m.
Everyone in the University of Maine System who is working to advance system-wide partnerships is welcome. The Multi-Campus Collaborations Retreat will bring us together for a facilitated discussion about collaborative academic programs and courses, research across the system, economies of scale/shared resources/equity, and more!
Our goal is to create a system-wide network of collaborators, as well as recommendations for UMS on successful strategies for broad collaboration.
