Wheatland Geospatial Laboratory to Offer Maine Forest Carbon Partner Engagement Workshop

The Wheatland Laboratory’s Maine Forest Carbon Partner Engagement Workshop is a one-day event to engage with a broad range of partners interested in learning about and providing input to carbon accounting and uncertainty estimation of managed forests in Maine. Forest carbon updates from  the USDA Forest Service, NASA, the State of Maine, and regional partners from Canada, Vermont, and New Hampshire will be provided, and the current science of carbon methods will be discussed. The afternoon will focus on forest carbon and climate change-focused  projects in Maine, and facilitated breakout sessions to identify and understand your needs in terms of forest carbon data products and decision support tools.
