We continue to prepare for the May 11-12, 2021 virtual visit by a two-member, NECHE-appointed evaluation team. We will be discussing our progress on unified accreditation with them, including work we have completed as well as other projects and initiatives that are underway or will be soon. The team’s itinerary includes open meetings for faculty, staff, and students. We will be sharing more information about this visit in April, and we encourage you to plan on participating as you’re able.
In that context and in many others, we would welcome your questions and ideas about how we can collectively use unified accreditation as a tool for sharing resources, improving communication and coordination, and removing barriers to success for our students, our faculty, and the UMS community as a whole. We hope you will contribute to this important and ongoing dialogue.
