Through unique, place-based learning experiences in East Greenland, this project was co-hosted by The THOR Institute and the Arctic Education Alliance, in partnership with Visit East Greenland (the local destination management organization) and Campus Kujalleq (Greenland’s tourism college).

A collaborative cohort of students and faculty from Campus Kujalleq alongside student fellows supported by The THOR Institute and Arctic Education Alliance engaged in intercultural learning aimed at supporting local tourism development goals in Tasiilaq, Greenland. Together, participants deepened their understanding of destination management and stewardship in remote Northern communities, emphasizing the vital role of local voices in sustainable tourism development.
