Submit a ticket in the portal anytime. Chat with the Help Desk during business hours, Monday–Friday.
Walk-in support
Most campuses have a local help desk for in-person help with devices, printing, and classroom technology.
Locked out or need a reset?
Your maine.edu account is your single sign-on for email, Brightspace, MaineStreet, and most UMS systems. Reset your own password any time — no call required.
- Go to the account tools. Open accounts.maine.edu and choose “Reset password.”
- Verify it’s you. Approve the sign-in request on your enrolled device to confirm it’s you.
- Set a new password. Choose a strong, unique passphrase. Changes sync across all UMS systems within a few minutes.
- Update saved logins. Sign in again on your phone’s email and Wi-Fi so devices reconnect.
