About Your CRA
Amy Williams (she/her) comes from Juneau, Alaska, where she was the Early Head Start Manager for the Central Council of the Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska. There, she helped write Indigenous preschool curriculum and facilitated Early Head Start programs throughout thirteen villages in Southeast Alaska. She has been a teacher, therapist for adults with disabilities, cattle rancher, diamond buyer, bank manager, and assistant executive director of a private non-profit Montessori school. She has her Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Morehead State University and her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Eastern Kentucky University.
Amy is a Certified National Advocate through the National Advocate Credentialing Program (NACP).
Amy treasures time with her family, who consists of her husband Chuck, daughter Hadley (who is attending the University of Maine), and son Logan and daughter-in-law Bailee who live in Kentucky. Amy also has a beloved 14-year-old Yorkie named Bella.
Amy is also the CRA for the University of Maine at Augusta.
