The Maine Center supports small businesses and entrepreneurs from across Maine by providing them with programming, business resources, mentorship and physical space to help them grow and scale their ventures. To advance the state’s small business ecosystem, the Maine Center builds strategic partnerships to help advance impact across the state.

Business & Law Clinic

The Business & Law Clinic is a first-of-its-kind collaboration between University of Maine Graduate School of Business, University of Maine School of Law, and the Maine Graduate and Professional Center. This unique program pairs Maine Law and MBA students to support early-stage entrepreneurs and under-resourced businesses across Maine.

The Clinic helps strengthen Maine’s small business economy by offering pro bono legal and business services to companies that may not yet have the resources to hire private attorneys or consultants.

The Foundry

The Foundry is a community of entrepreneurs, funders, and founders that are focused on building and growing businesses. The Foundry members support one another in developing new ideas, raising capital, and building businesses.

The Maine Center provides collaborative space to The Foundry, with the members working independently, supporting one another in scaling their respective ventures. Members are provided space to collaborate, engage, and share advice.

AI for Small Business Growth
