Recent & Upcoming Events at the Maine Center
The Maine Center, in partnership with the Maine Graduate School of Business and the University of Maine School of Law, hosted the first annual Maine Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Summit in March 2025. This event was the first statewide gathering of its kind, bringing together business, law, and policy professionals to collaboratively identify the critical role that they can play in making Maine a top destination for startups and business growth.

Join Startup Maine (External Site) May 19-22 in Portland for four days of practical talks, hands-on workshops, and unbeatable networking. With 35+ events, you’ll learn how to fundraise, pitch investors, find co-founders, build financial models, leverage AI, and more.
Events throughout the week hosted at the Maine Center include the opening plenary, Maine Technology Institute’s Portfolio Showcase, Scratchpad Accelerator’s Lunch & Learn, plus panels, networking meetups, happy hours, and more!

The Maine Center Awards is an evening dedicated to celebrating excellence in business, law, policy, innovation, and entrepreneurship. This special event will celebrate the Maine Center’s impact and honor recent and distinguished alumni from our core academic partners — Maine Graduate School of Business, Maine Law, and Muskie School of Public Service. The Maine Center will also highlight our newest core academic partner, the Maine College of Engineering and Computing.
In addition to honoring alumni, the Maine Center will recognize community leaders who are driving entrepreneurship and innovation across Maine.
