Computerized Placement Testing
Western Maine University and Community College Center administers a computerized placement test called Accuplacer (CPT) for prospective and current students. The test serves as an assessment tool to determine proper course placement in Reading, English and Math. There is no charge for these tests, and they are an important tool for determining just what course a student should register for.
Placement testing is offered to both University of Maine at Augusta degree programs and Central Maine Community College degree programs.
