Central Maine Community College
Central Maine Community College offers 29 degree and certificate programs and nearly a dozen areas of specialization and concentrations within majors. Students receive Associate in Science degrees, Associate in Applied Science degrees and Certificates in technical and career-centered programs or an Associate in Arts degree in either General Studies or Liberal Studies designed to provide the first two years of a bachelor's degree. Fall and spring semesters are generally 16 weeks with two 8-week summer terms.
CMCC offers on-site courses at the Western Maine University and Community College Center with courses ranging from Business, College Writing and College Algebra to Medical Transcription, Early Childhood Education, and Speech plus many others. Students can take a course or two to improve their job skills or just challenge their minds; or begin their college education at the conveniently located WMUCC and finish at the beautiful Auburn campus.
