Your pay statement will have a new look
Your pay statement will soon look more like the statement you already see when you log into MaineStreet and go to Employee Self-Service > Payroll and Compensation > View Paycheck. Expect this change to appear in late August.
- The Employer Paid Benefits will now be listed.
- Before-Tax Deductions will now be separated from After-Tax Deductions.
- Paid Time Off will now be displayed at the bottom of the pay statement, instead of the top.
- Student Award Balances will now be located on the Timesheet in MaineStreet.
Did you know?
You can elect not to receive a direct deposit advice (aka pay statement). Pay data are available in MaineStreet at least two days prior to payday. There is no need to wait for the mail to arrive with your direct deposit statement and risk misplacing this important personal information! By eliminating the paper copy you can eliminate one potential risk factor for identity theft.
Simply log into MaineStreet and select Employee Self-Service > Payroll and Compensation > View Paycheck. You can even look at your pay history by selecting View a Different Paycheck.
Go to the Quick Guide for Direct Deposit to learn how to change your account information and to suppress the paper copy of your pay statement.
(If you don't have Direct Deposit yet, you might want to consider initiating it now. Contact your university's HR Office.)
