		<description><![CDATA[Many UMS ITS hosted services will be completely unavailable from around 4AM for at least six hours on Sunday March 24th.]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Services hosted by UMS in Orono will be unavailable for part or all of the maintenance window on Sunday the 24th, starting at 4 AM and continuing until around 12 PM.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>At approximately 2330 on March 10, 2013, one of the servers running Mainestreet CS and CSRPT spontaneously rebooted. As of 0800 March 11, 2013 the system has been restarted and service restored. ITS staff have checked that all overnight processes completed and are continuing to investigate the cause of the system rebooting.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[On August 19th the MaineStreet Portal will be upgraded]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A new version of the MaineStreet Portal will be placed into production on the morning of Sunday August 19th.</p>
<p>We expect minimal disruption with the exception that if a user is active when we make the change they <strong>WILL</strong> loose their session. Therefore we ask that users log out of MaineStreet before the beginning of the regularly scheduled service window (5:00 AM). While we don&#8217;t plan to make changes until 6:00 AM EDT this deadline will give enough time for everyone to be fully logged out. Following the change UMS ITS staff will test the Portal to ensure a smooth changeover.</p>
