The Mainframe is Down

Thursday, December 31st, 2009

Today UMS ITS shut down the mainframe. After many long hours of work by many people the time has come.

The Mainframe Has Been Turned Off

We thank Alvah and Peter for their dutiful and conscientious work and wish them the best in the new year.

Many thanks also go out to all of those who sat the long quiet  hours of the night with only the drone of the machines to keep them company.

Tonight the mainframe sits in its final sleep alone.

May all have a Happy and Peaceful New Year.
