Planned Connectivity And Systems Outage: UMS-ITS Orono on March 24th

Services hosted by UMS in Orono will be unavailable for part or all of the maintenance window on Sunday the 24th, starting at 4 AM and continuing until around 12 PM.

Affected services and websites include, but are not limited to:

Mainestreet CS – unexpected outage, March 10, 2013

March 11th, 2013

At approximately 2330 on March 10, 2013, one of the servers running Mainestreet CS and CSRPT spontaneously rebooted. As of 0800 March 11, 2013 the system has been restarted and service restored. ITS staff have checked that all overnight processes completed and are continuing to investigate the cause of the system rebooting.

MaineStreet Campus Solutions Outage Oct 19th-22nd

All Campus Solutions applications, including Student Self-Service and Faculty Self-Service, will be unavailable from 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 19 until approximately 8:00 a.m. Monday, October 22.

HR hiring will be impacted by the absence of the Search/Match process.

Upgrading MaineStreet Portal to 9.1

August 7th, 2012

A new version of the MaineStreet Portal will be placed into production on the morning of Sunday August 19th.

We expect minimal disruption with the exception that if a user is active when we make the change they WILL loose their session. Therefore we ask that users log out of MaineStreet before the beginning of the regularly scheduled service window (5:00 AM). While we don’t plan to make changes until 6:00 AM EDT this deadline will give enough time for everyone to be fully logged out. Following the change UMS ITS staff will test the Portal to ensure a smooth changeover.

July 2012: Blackboard Upgrade

June 21st, 2012

Student Self-Service and Faculty Self-Service Down for Maintentance Friday Evening and Saturday the 19th

MaineStreet Campus solutions will be down for maintenance starting at 5PM on Friday the 18th and ending Saturday evening around 5PM.

HRMS Upgrade

April 16th, 2012

The UMS ITS Administrative Systems Development and Support MaineStreet HR team will be putting version 9.1 into production the first weekend in May. Due to this the HRMS functions will be unavailable starting around 5PM on Friday the 4th through the morning of Tuesday the 8th.
