Throughout the University System, we handle a great deal of information every day including legally protected information.Students and others entrust the University System with their information, and it is our commitment to them that we will secure that information and protect it against unauthorized access, use, disclosure and distribution. The University System and by extension, its employees, are stewards of the public trust.

2013 Information Security AwarenessTraining

(coming April of 2013)

The Office of Information and Security provides an annual training for all faculty and staff.  This year's training will cover:

  • Protection of University Data
  • Use of non-University Devices and Networks
  • Protection of Common Data Elements

The training is provided via the Blackboard LMS and is linked in the icon below. Blackboard will allow every faculty, staff and student employee access the training at their leisure.
