In a perfect world all users of devices would be able to store every password in their mind and simply recall it when needed.  Unfortunately, for the imperfect human this is not always possible.  In the workplace it is NOT recommended to keep passwords on a piece of paper under the keyboard.  It is recommended to use programs to generate hyper-strong passwords with a click, so users no longer have to bend their minds trying to come up with them. These programs also have the added benefit of offering some protection from password theft by malicious keylogging programs and phishing sites.
