Arts Insurance Program Guidelines
Building Insurance
Insurance coverage for new buildings, additions, major renovations, and University owned contents.
Claims are subject to a $10,000 deductible. If a lower deductable is needed for certain contents please see information on special contents insurance.
Required form: C.O.P.E. Form
(C.O.P.E. = Construction, Occupancy, Protection, External-exposure)
Special Contents Insurance
This is a voluntary program to provide campuses a reduced deductible on certain contents or equipment. Cost of coverage is based on the contents value. Purchasing this coverage reduces deductible on a loss from $10,000 to $500. If interested please contact the Risk Management office.
Generall Liability
The Liability policy covers bodily injury or property damage to others. Trustees, employees, students and volunteers conducting University-related business at the medical, veterinary, law and certain other schools.
Educators Legal Liability
The Educators Legal Liability policy insures trustees, employees, students and volunteers conducting University-related business for wrongful acts. Wrongful acts can include actual or alleged errors, omissions, acts, misstatements, neglect or breach in the discharge of duties to or on behalf of the University.
