Academics

With ample opportunities for fieldwork, internships and research, UMPI is distinguished by its “adventurous learning” approach. Many liberal arts and professional programs have been recognized for excellence, including social work, athletic training and medical laboratory technology, which have earned national accreditation.

 

Activities & Athletics

Adventure happens here. More than 25 student-run organizations create a spirited atmosphere on campus, including cheering on 12 men’s and women’s NCAA Division III teams. Off-campus, recreational activities abound–from rafting and canoeing to skiing and rock climbing–in every season.
