Academics

UMFK offers a wide variety of quality liberal arts programs in these four areas: Arts and Humanities, Education, Natural and Behavioral Sciences and Nursing. Thanks to its location and the area’s French-speaking Acadian and Quebecois history, UMFK is a center for the study of Acadian and Franco-American culture and heritage.

 

Activities & Athletics

Students at UMFK have myriad opportunities to enjoy and participate in the arts, theater and music, as well unmatched outdoor recreational choices in a spectacular, four-season setting. Small but fiercely competitive, UMFK competes in Division II of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) as a member of the Sunrise
Conference.
