BANGOR – University of Maine System Chancellor Joseph W. Westphal will visit the three University of Southern Maine campuses on Friday, March 10, to discuss the System’s Strategic Planning initiative.

Chancellor Westphal will be at the Lewiston-Auburn, Gorham and Portland campuses to update faculty, staff, students, administrators and others on the progress made with the initiative and to get feedback on both the strategic plan and related campus-based activities. Since late January, the Chancellor has visited all seven of the System’s universities.

Joining him will be the Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs, Elsa Nuñez.

Chancellor Westphal’s visit itinerary includes:

9:00-10:00 a.m. – Open forum at the Lewiston-Auburn Campus (Room 170)

11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon – Open forum at the Gorham Campus (Presidential Dining Room, Brooks Student Center)

12:45-1:45 p.m. – Open forum on the Portland Campus (Room 213, Community Education Center)

1:45-2:00 p.m. – Chancellor Westphal will be available for open media interview (Room 216, Community Education Center, Portland campus)
