UC Announces Fall Healthcare Courses
Maine’s public universities will offer more than 35 courses in health care at University College centers and sites during the upcoming fall semester. The courses will be delivered via interactive television and teleconference to locations statewide. Many courses also will be available online.
The courses will appeal to people seeking credentials or skill development in health care. Students taking courses at centers and sites can earn certificates in Dental Assisting, Holistic Health, Foods and Nutrition, and Health Policy and Management and degrees in Dental Hygiene, Medical Lab Technology, and Nursing.
