This includes the automation of loading major student search name files, broadcast email campaigns, online event registration, online inquiry forms, travel/territory management for counselors, letter & telephone campaigns, and overall communication with prospective students and parents.
Travel Services Chip GavinExecute 6/14 2/15This project will implement a system that will provide university-wide travel services at a lower cost and with an improved traveler experience.
USM PCESusan NevinsExecute5/149/14This USM project will implement Jenzabar's Higher Reach, which is a system to support all aspects of Professional and Continuing Education (PCE), including the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute and USM Professional Development Programs. This includes registration, course management, marketing support, instructor contracts and payments, pricing and payment options, PCI compliant web payment capabilities, student progress, GL Financials integration, and basic Customer Relationship Management (CRM) capabilities.

AP DirectorChip GavinExecute9/15FY15AP Director is an enhanced module for the existing UMS SciQuest solution which is the technological foundation of the MaineStreet Marketplace and AP Shared Services (APSS) procure-to-pay process. AP Director together with “Digital Mailroom” will provide significant process improvements and reduce many of the currently required campus resource-intensive activities.

The outcome of this project will be the implementation of a “virtual help desk” that coordinates the efforts of support staff across the UMS and to develop a common set of protocols and standards.

The projects are being combined for coordination and management of the projects collectively. These initiatives will build upon the facilities renovation of the data centers in Orono and Portland and will respond to the information security recommendations provided by Presidio.
CCAUE - Online contributions projectLynda DecExecute3/141/14This project will automate UMS employee contributions to the CCAUE campaigns managed by the seven campuses and University Services. Employees will be able to review information about the different funds and submit their selections and donation instructions online. The information will be loaded into the payroll system as payroll deductions.

This project will enhance the ability for UM and USM to engage and communicate with alumni and donors.
