The "New Challenges, New Directions" Task Force is seeking public comment on the draft report (released on June 23, 2009).

All public comments on the draft report should be submitted by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, June 29, 2009 to:

  • taskforce@maine.edu (email)
  • or mailed to "Task Force, c/o Office of the Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs, University of Maine System, 16 Central Street, Bangor, ME 04401"

Additional opportunities for public comment will occur as the Chancellor, university presidents, and Board of Trustees consider and act on the report and its recommendations.
